Hi, I'm Arielle Castillo, a multimedia journalist and storyteller currently based in New York City (though proudly raised in multicultural Miami).
I'm currently the senior editor for MLSsoccer.com / the digital content arm of Major League Soccer, where I do everything from write, report, and serve as an on-camera host, to create original social media content, to edit others' work, manage teams of freelancers, and much more.
Before that, I spent a couple of years helping launch Fusion, then a joint venture between Univision and ABC-Disney, and then largely focused on cable television and digital. I did basically everything there; you can read about the details on my resume.
I'm a proud fluent Spanish speaker and advanced speaker of French; I studied abroad in Paris while attending New York University, where I got my B.A.
Currently I specialize in telling the amazing stories where sports, culture, lifestyle, and entertainment connect. My other interests include yoga, fitness, travel, cooking, film, the arts -- and cats.
